My name is Wannes Paulissen. In 2017 I finished the ‘Advanced Cycle’ at the Ecole de Massage Sensitif Belge. It were pleasant years full of thematic workshops with a great love for conscious touch. Now I return every now and then to be a model during workshops or just for the pleasure of meeting each other in the pleasant massage context.

In 2018, After an introduction workshop of ‘Hawaiian Lomi Lomi temple style’ in Corsica, I felt the need to explore this practise further. I eventually ended up at the Australian College Of Kahuna Sciences of master trainer Ki’a’i Ho’okahi Weber. Unsure of what I was looking for I found exactly what I needed.

At first I was surprised that the focus wasn’t on the technique as I was accustomed to in other trainings. I was challenged at first and with practice came to understand that it went way beyond. It goes as far as we want to take it at the present moment and we were taught to follow that awareness through the ever evolving space of present, past and future.

Here in Europe I continue my training with Isabell Dzananovic.  Isabell trained for many years at the College of Kahuna sciences in Australia and was given approval by Ki’a’i Ho’okahi Weber to teach Ka’alele’au and Bodywork in Austria where she now teaches and practices Kahuna Bodywork.

It was and still is an intense and beautiful journey that changes my way I perceive myself and life in general. It clearly is one long trajectory of self-development. I look forward to many more years of training.  That’s why it’s always difficult to explain friends or clients that the training is not yet, and never will be, ‘finished’.  It simply is.
